3 adults, including a husband and wife, are in jail on a variety of charges including felony theft, burglary, weapon charges, and drug distribution. All three are on felony probation.

On May 22, 2017, Deputies with the Utah County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a burglary that occurred at a business in Vineyard City. Owners of the business told investigators that someone entered the business sometime over the weekend of May 19-21 and stole approximately $60,000 worth of high-end tools including tool chests, welders, high tech welding leads, and multiple power tools. Using video surveillance from the business investigators identified three suspects.

On May 23rd investigators from the Utah County Sheriff’s office, assisted by Provo and Utah County Special Enforcement Teams and Adult Probation & Parole, located three suspects and recovered most of the stolen property. When the suspects were arrested, they were found to have approximately one ounce of methamphetamine in their possession. All three suspects are on felony probation with the Utah Department of Adult Probation and Parole (AP&P).

Shawn Gregory Davis, age 35, of Orem, was booked into the Utah County Jail on the following charges: Possession of drug paraphernalia, class B misdemeanor; Possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, 2nd degree felony; Burglary of a business, a 3rd degree felony; Theft, a 2nd degree felony. Shawn also has an AP&P hold pending and order to show cause hearing.

Heather Davis, age 44, of Orem, was booked into the Utah County Jail on the following charges: Possession of drug paraphernalia, class B misdemeanor; Possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute-with prior convictions, 1st degree felony; Theft, 2nd degree felony. Heather also has an AP&P hold pending an order to show cause hearing.

Jessee Merlin Christen, age 29, of Orem, was booked into the Utah County Jail on the following charges: Possession of a dangerous weapon by a restricted person, 3rd degree felony; Burglary of a business, 3rd degree felony; Theft, 2nd degree felony; Possession of identifying documents of another person, 3rd degree felony. Christen also has an AP&P hold pending an order to show cause hearing.
