Bicycle Accident

A 56 year old male was taken by Life Flight to Utah Valley Hospital as a result of a bicycle accident.

On Monday, July 8, 2002 at approximately 0730 A.M. the Utah County Sheriff's Office responded to a bicycle accident at the Cedar Fort Store. Geral Harshberger fell on his bicycle and hit the ground causing head injuries. Brett Davis from Draper, Utah was driving by the Cedar Fort store at the time of the accident and assisted in performing CPR. Gerald Harshberger had gone into full cardiac arrest and was later transported by Life Flight to Utah Valley Hospital. According to Deputy Wayne Keith, Gerald was in fair condition and had improved significantly at the Utah Valley Hospital.
