Suspect In Officer Involved Shooting Booked Into Jail

The suspect in the December 20, 2017, Officer Involved Shooting in Utah County was booked into the Salt Lake County Jail. His bail has been set at $1,000,000.00 cash only. PC statement released.


DECEMBER 23, 2017 - UPDATE: Arturo Ray Gallemore-Jimenez, the suspect in an Officer Involved Shooting (OIS) in Utah county on December 20, has been released from Utah Valley Hospital. He was booked into the Salt Lake County jail. He was booked on three counts of attempted aggravated murder (1st degree felony), and one count each of possession of a firearm by a restricted person and failure to stop at the command of police (both 3rd degree felonies). Bail for Gallemore-Jimenez has been set at $1,000,000.00 cash only. He was booked into Salt Lake County jail because of the involvement in this case of Deputies with the Utah County Sheriff's Office. The Probable Cause statement is attached.
