TAX ABATEMENT ONLINE APPLICATION

Welcome to the online application for Tax Relief in Utah County. This online service can be used to apply for the following forms of Tax Relief:

CIRCUIT BREAKER ABATEMENT: For homeowners who are age 66 years of age or older or an unmarried widow or widower or any age whose gross annual household income is below $34,167 per year. Must be applied for every year.

INDIGENT ABATEMENT: For low income homeowners who are age 65 years or older, an unmarried widow or widower of any age, a person who is medically disabled, or a person who is experiencing an extreme hardship whose gross annual household income is below $34,167. Documentation must be provided about all household income, expenses, and assets. Must be applied for every year.

BLIND ABATEMENT: For homeowners who are legally blind, either permanently or temporarily. There are no income or age restrictions. Must be applied for every year.

DISABLED VETERAN'S EXEMPTION: For honorably discharged veteran's with at least a 10% combined disability rating, their unmarried surviving spouse, or surviving minor orphaned children. Initial application for homeowner's credit only. Vehicles must be applied for every year.

DISABLED VETERAN'S-KILLED IN ACTION EXEMPTION: For the unmarried surviving spouse of a service member who was killed in action or killed in the line of duty or their surviving minor orphaned children. Initial application for homeowner's credit only. Vehicles must be applied for every year.

ACTIVE DUTY ARMED FORCES EXEMPTION: For resident homeowners who are active duty members of the armed forces or the reserves who have served 200 days or more outside the State of Utah in a 12 month period. Must be applied for every year or the year after 200 days service is completed.
